Why should you choose melengua?

Nowadays you will find many large language schools from which you can take your pick. Many of them are well- established, have a great reputation and locations in various cities. Why should you still decide to learn a language at a small school, such as melengua?

First of all, I have been a german teacher for many years now and I know exactly what it takes to teach successfully. This knowledge and my experiences have helped me to decide to build a school in which the leader is no business woman, but a teacher. That is how the students remain priority number one.

1. The individual vs. the mass
You will become our first priority. You are not one of many, but you have our full attention and we will advise you individually and fully- concentrated on your needs. In large schools, the mass is the most important, whilst individual students sometimes disappear in the crowd. For us, you are the most important student, the most important customer and you will never be only one of many.

2. Training
In large schools the main teaching qualification is to be a native speaker. Other training is not necessary.  The lessons are their responsibility completely. We are very well- trained, we possess many Qualifications (see in "About melengua and myself") and we have relevant teaching experience in all areas of German- and English- teaching. We have already taught all levels and have gained insights to different job fields when we taught business related german lessons. For us, german teaching is more than work; we learn so much from our students and we exchange so much about cultures and traditions which always enriches us. You as our student will receive the best german training available, with it being planned for you individually so that you reach your potential in a relaxed and safe atmosphere.

3. Customized Methods
We will not create a method to be used with all of our students. I realized that every students learns differently and a method that works for all of them simply does not exist. You will be advised individually and the lessons will be planned for each student individually in order for them to obtain their whole learning potential and their maximum learning success (see "Learning principles").

4. 24-hour-service

It comes natural to me that I am still the contact person for my students outside of the classroom. My students need me, especially before exams, to answer questions and clarify misunderstandings also on weekends. My support also incorporates help in private matters such as writing introduction letters for e.g. apartment hunting or job search. For me, the person as a whole learning individual is important and I believe that as a teacher you are never really "off duty".
